GOODBYE BERNIE, GOODBYE LONIE

Fans of the Ottawa Renegades CFL franchise must once again say farewell to owner Bernie Glieberman and his son, team president Lonie "Mardi Gras" Glieberman. The duo formerly owned the Ottawa Rough Riders in the mid-1990's, turning the franchise into a financial basket case before selling it to absentee owner Horn Chen who finally ran it into the ground. The reincarnated Ottawa Renegades football team was purchased by Bernie Glieberman in 2005 and is now being abandonned after Lonie held frat-party promotions in the stands, encouraging female patrons to show their breasts to male oglers. The above photo shows Bernie (left) and Lonie holding up Renegades sweaters with the number of winning seasons and the number of playoff appearances (respectively) by either Glieberman-owned Ottawa football franchise. Better luck next time, fellas!
