TERRORISM ![]()      The Afghan terrorists, the ones who ritualistically murder women for reading books or going outdoors without a man, never had a better friend and ally than they do in "Taliban Jack" Layton. He must realize that pulling NATO forces out of Afghanistan allows the Taliban to return to power and to restore the terrorist training camps used by groups like Al-Qaeda and Hezbollah. And with neighboring Pakistan becoming a nuclear power, there is a realistic chance that the Taliban could become armed with nuclear weapons. Islamic terrorists have threatened to attack Canada for years. Is that not enough reason to confront the terrorists in their own backyard? Canadian soldiers joined the military knowing they could see active combat, and they are trained to serve as our national defense forces. Not allowing them to finish their mission for the sake of sparing a few lives is not a humanitarian act; it is a dishonour to everything for which our soldiers and Canada's military heritage stand. It is like Taliban Jack puts the rights of suicide bombers ahead of the rights of Canadian civilians who don't want planes hitting buildings and bombs exploding on subways in our own cities. Does Osama himself have to crash a plane into Jack Layton's house, killing Jack's entire family, before Jack wakes up and starts to take these guys seriously? Or does the NDP Party just favour some extremist Islamic organizations more than others?      The NDP's brand of extreme socialism is not concerned with the outcomes of it's doctrines, only in the procedures. That is why failure has become the new victory as Canadians are gradually allowing themselves to be influenced by the leftist dogma. As long as you use the one accepted method for dealing with a problem, you are putting yourself on a higher moral plane than anyone using another method that achieves a better outcome. There is no valid justification for war and the active combat roles used to achieve militaristic objectives, according to the socialists. And yet the Islamic terrorists use violence all the time and have openly declared war on Canada and many other western countries. So why does the NDP not openly denounce the terrorists? It is simply because socilaists are racists in denial. They look upon other races and cultures as inferior, unenlightened people who are not really any more responsible for their actions than untrained puppies. They don't come out and openly say this, of course, because the soclialists have entered the political arena and have learned to lie their asses off like all politicians. Their basic political position is that "I'm rubber and you're glue; whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you." So they deflect claims that they are racists by going on the offensive and saying everyone else is a racist. It works for kids in Grade 2, why not for our elected representatives? They use the notion of inequality of wealth across the world as a disguise for their real intentions. They are not interested in feeding the hungry empoverished people of the third world as much as they are interested in taking away the materialistic wealth of people in the Western world. In other words, they don't really like the terrorists as much as they hate the individual who works 60 hours a week and drives a $40,000 gas-guzzling SUV.      Given the chance to take power, the socilaists have committed some of the greatest atrocities against mankind. Who were the most diabolical, murderous leaders the world has even known? Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, General Mao, Ceausescu, Saddam Hussein, Fidel Castro... they were all socialists. Who were the worst right-wing leaders in history? Margaret Thatcher and Brian Mulroney?? Even under the worst capitalist administrations, freedom of thought and freedom of speech exist. You can be a Communist while living under Conservative rule. The opposite is not true. For socialism to work, everyone has to subscribe to it. Dissenters are silenced by any means possible. And as if that's not bad enough, socialist leaders inevitably become corrupt and amass huge personal wealth while their countrymen live in poverty and die of starvation. But again, it's not the outcome of socialist principles that matter, it is the principles themselves that matter most. The corruption of socilism lies at the heart of every socialist. Socialists are very good at spending other peoples monies and telling everyone else what to do. The real motto of the NDP should be "Do as I say, not as I do." Anyone thinking that an NDP government will eliminate poverty needs their head examined. If the NDP was to eliminate poverty, there would be nobody left to vote for them! |
